Born 9/22/1956 in Logan County West Virginia to Violet Delores Moore Richey and Frank Edward Richey . I lost my Mother and brother in 1958, 2 months shy of my second birthday. My Mother, Violet Moore Richey had an NPE father. My father Frank Edward Richey was adopted as an infant. Both parents were born in Huntington, West Virginia. My biological surname on my parental side is Tipton . My biological Grandmother's surname is Morris. This was confirmed through DNA testing and years of research. My father's adoptive parents Ose and Maime Richey of Logan, West Virginia were wonderful Grandparents. I never knew my Grandmother on my maternal side she died at 44 years old . Violet my Mother was a ward of the state by the age of 7 , not accepted by her family . Loreda Ward Moore was separated from her husband for 7 years and Violet was conceived during that time. Violet was raised in Pliny West Virginia by her foster Mother Charlotte McCausland , she lived there until she turned 18. Violet was married to Frank Richey for approximately 5 years before she died .

My birth record/certificate arrived when I was 16, getting my drivers license while at boarding school. The records showed my name as Lesa. That is when I started spelling my name wrong . The spelling was Lisa but the record sent was incorrect. I since sent off for a certified copy and the spelling at birth was Lisa. You will find my first name spelled both ways .
