My interest in genealogy began with my mother's passing in 2013 and my father-in-law's passing in 2014. Although I'd been interested, upon their passing, I inherited all of the family documents and genealogy that they had worked on.
Since then, I've been working on my family tree via FamilySearch.org very sporadically and have become more active in the past few years. I'm on and off it but each time I fill in quite a bit more!
