I am based in Newaygo County, Michigan, and I have access to burial record indexes for most cemeteries in the county. If you would like me to look up a burial record for you, just ask!
If there is no headstone, I will still make every effort to take a photo of the approximate location of the grave if the plot is known. I think there would be fewer old, unfulfilled photo requests cluttering up the system if more volunteers did this.
If a volunteer reports that there is no headstone or record of the burial, I suggest deleting your request and adding a note about it to the Bio or Grave Details of the memorial, rather than leaving the request open, which could potentially waste the time of another researcher.
