I have always been the one in my family who tries to keep up with family members.
Also, I have had a lifelong fascination with history. Even as a young child, I gravitated toward older family members and neighbors because I loved listening to their real-life stories and memories of what life was like when they were young.
When I discovered genealogy, it seemed to blend the best of both worlds and I have been joyfully intrigued ever since!
