I have been researching my family tree for 30 years and it spans nearly every country in the UK.
On my paternal side I'm researching Drummonds from Ladybank, Fife and Crieff, Perthshire. McOwan/McCowan's from Comrie, Perthshire and Kingskettle, Fife. Murray's from Closeburn, Dumfriesshire and Fergussons Kirkoswald, Ayrshire.
My maternal side are Coopers and Yates Preston, Lancashire and Kellets from Bentham and Clarksons from Pocklington, Yorkshire. I have also started my husband's family tree who were originally from County Antrim, Northern Ireland but moved to Ayrshire.
