On my paternal side I come from a long line of Evans and Davies from Cardiganshire, Wales. One of my great aunts Jane Evans of Meingwynion emigrated to Jackson Ohio with her husband and two sons David and Daniel Evans. I married a MacAlister whose line stretches from the Isle of Bute, Scotland and his daughter and I are researching.
