I am the daughter of Dewey Livingston Roberts, Sr. As far back as we have been able to trace, our family has lived in North Carolina in Robeson, Bladen, and Moore counties. The birth and burial places of our most distantly known ancestor, Stokesberry "Stokes" Roberts, are still unknown. I have also done some research on my maternal ancestry and hope to continue to work on this as well. Memorials that I have added or manage are for my own immediate and extended family. I have no agenda beyond memorializing the members of my own family.

Stokesberry "Stokes" Roberts begat Archibald Roberts, who begat David Lafayette Roberts, who begat Starslie Dewey Roberts, who begat Dewey Livingston Roberts, Sr., who begat me.

Duncan King begat Solomon King, who begat James Madison King, who begat Robert King, who begat Ruby King Davis, who begat Frankie Davis Roberts, who begat me.

I have been finding more information about my husband's family history. Desiring to see that recorded, I have been adopting those memorials, as well.
