I am a 2nd generation French-Canadian American currently living in Rochester, NY. Many of my ancestors in North America date back to the colonial times, originating from Quebec. The ones that came to the US originally settled in the St.Lawrence and Franklin county regions of northern New York state. I've also discovered that the lineage on my mother's side dates all the way back to the Mayflower, which landed at Plymouth, Massachusetts.
