As a high school teenager, my Mom's cousin brought me a copy of the list of Kings and Queens we were descended from. That peaked my interest!
On a second honeymoon, I saw a photo of Wyatt Earp in black and white and it blew me away. He looked like my (ex) husband Steve Earp Sr. The Genealogy bug bit! I loved it! My love increased when I found an ancestor in six months that others had spent 10-12 years looking for ..... I was able to "hand search a microfilm and found "IRP" instead of "EARP".
In 1981, a semi-professional (pt time) career in genealogy began! It's still a passion!
