My name is Brenda (Atchley) King. I am the daughter of Oscar James Atchley and Helen Louise Wallpe. The photo is of myself and my twin sister Linda (Atchley) Grady. My father's dad was James Alexander Atchley married to Jalia Mayhalie Pippin, his dad was Edward Wasson Atchley married to Julia Ann Miller, his father was Thomas Vernon Atchley married to Elizabeth Wasson, his father was Thomas Tyler Atchley married to Nancy Elizabeth Vernon, his father was Martin O Atchley married to Zephery Tyler, his father was Joshua "Jesse" Atchley married to Mary Martin (sometimes you may see the name Mary Elizabeth Martin, his father was James Thomas Atchley married to Ruth Maple (sometimes it could be spelled Maples)
Note: One son of Joshua "Jesse" Atchley and Mary Martin Atchley was Joseph Atchley which is James Noah "Jim" Atchley's/siblings line. My line is through Martin O Atchley- (Joseph and Martin were brothers).

On my mother's side Helen Louise (Wallpe) Atchley. I am the gg granddaughter of John and Brigetta Wallpe. My mother was Helen Louise Wallpe - daughter of John Anthony Wallpe and Clara Belle (Pepper) Wallpe.
Both of my parents passed away in 2002. I started doing genealogy in 2004 and I so enjoy keeping our ancestors heritage alive. To me genealogy is like a puzzle when we find a piece of our past how exciting and wonderful because our ancestors will not be forgotten.
Note: One son of Joshua "Jesse" Atchley and Mary Martin Atchley was Joseph Atchley which is James Noah "Jim" Atchley's/siblings line. My line is through Martin O Atchley- (Joseph and Martin were brothers).
