Like most Find-A-Grave members, I have a keen interest in genealogy, in particular my own family history. 

Some of the memorials I manage are my family members. Most are not related, typically created after photographing a memorial, then later discovering there is not a Find-A-Grave profile to add it to. I will attempt to include additional bio information and link to family members when I am able to ascertain accurate details from the most reliable sources available, such as state B, D & M online records (never Ancestry, which is notorious for inaccuracies).

I enjoy visiting cemeteries during my travels, and fulfilling photo requests whenever possible. 

On this note, when making a photo request, it is helpful to volunteers for grave location details to be added to the profile. Otherwise, it can be like searching for a needle in a haystack. Also, volunteers appreciate an acknowledgement for going out of their way to fulfil your request. It is simply good manners.
