I am a Maury County and Williamson County Tennessee Researcher, past Secretary to The Polk Young Hickory Society, current Secretary to Maury Preservation Alliance. I also run the Historic Maury County Tennessee Facebook Page, the Historic Williamson County Tennessee Facebook Page, and the Metro Nashville and Davidson County History Group Facebook Page, respectively. I am member of Williamson County, Maury County and Spring Hill Historical and Genealogical Societies. I am eaten up with local history.
I have fairly recent ancestors from Williamson, Maury, Davidson, Hickman, Dickson, Cheatham, Humphreys, Montgomery, Houston, Stewart, Grundy, Putnam, Jackson, Greene, and Sumner Counties, TN ; Botetourt County VA ; Delaware County IN, Lasalle County, IL, and Portage County, OH.
