Full name: John Brewster Sterry, Jr., 11th in decent from Elder William Brewster of the Mayflower. Owner of Fox-Becker Granite Company, 10 Rapallo Avenue, Middletown, CT 06457 since December 1986. F-B is a full service gravestone company started in 1898 which currently completes approximately 500 jobs per year. These jobs cover all areas from new memorials, cemetery engraving of existing memorials, repair, cleaning. One other area would be cornerstones for building and granite or stone signs for businesses or parks. As a youngster, together with my three sisters we spent many a Saturday or Sunday afternoon scouring cemeteries in Eastern Connecticut looking for connected family to help my grandmother complete the required research for membership in the Mayflower Society!
