Both of my parents were born and raised in the Flint, Michigan area, The Nimcheski's from the Bydgoski, Poland area, and the Taylor's, who originally came from the Wedmore, Somerset, UK area.
The Taylors migrated thru Sennett, New York in the 1850 - 60's, and eventually settled in Montcalm County, Michigan.
The Nimcheski's, arrived at Ellis Island in April of 1908, as the Niemczewski family. They headed for Luther, in Lake County, Michigan. Both of these families ended up in Flint, Michigan.
