I was born and raised in Roane county, Tennessee. My ancestors on both maternal and paternal sides have been in Roane or other counties within eastern Tennessee for many generations, with a few exceptions and of course they all came from somewhere else in the late !8th century.

I especially enjoy finding photographs, newspaper clippings, etc. of those that are no longer with us. I think it is very important and hope to help attach those records to the appropriate memorials whenever I can.
I love learning about my own ancestors, but also those of families that I am not related to, but am familiar with- most of which have resided in Roane county, TN as well.
