For me it's about helping the next person. I think of it as a time capsule. Sooner or later someone else will stumble into it and appreciate it. I also view it as a good way to honor our ancestors. I am mostly working on Belgians who settled here, but also I add any previously unknown burials to the Allouez Cemetery that I gleam from obituaries or death records. slampereur.org
