Hello! I've gotten interested in my Family Trees for a long time but never asked my parents/grandparents any questions. I knew some information but not a lot. I just started typing in names, like the tree I've been working on the most is my Kirby Family. My father was Robert Kirby (1938-2015. Married my mom Mariette Carmoni who was from Canada) His dad (my grandfather) was Clarence Kirby and grandmother, Edith Medeiros. The great-grandfather's before him in order from Great-Grandfather to my 8th Great-Grandfather are: Edward Brownell Kirby, George D. Kirby, Abner Kirby, Abraham Kirby, Wesson Kirby, Nathaniel Kirby, Robert Kirby, Richard Kirby Jr.

My family has descendants from the Mayflower: my 4th Great-Grandfather Abraham Kirby's wife, Eunice White. My 8th Great-Grandfather, Richard Kirby who came from Hertfordshire, England came to the U.S on the ship "Assurance" in early 1630's. He was a Quaker and lived in Sandwich, MA in 1640

Richard's son Robert had purchased the Waite-Potter House located off Main Rd, Westport, MA where they had a farm and where the only thing remaining of the old homestead is the chimney til this day (year 2025). Robert gave the property to his son, Ichabod Kirby and Robert remained living on Fisherville Lane in which is now Westport, MA and that house still remains today.
