I was born in the Harris Chapel community of Panola County, Texas on November 20, 1939. My parents are Marvin Dewey Woods and Nannie Pearl (Williams) Woods. As of this day, my wife of 61 1/2 years live in the Soda community of Polk County, Texas and been here since the summer of 1969. We have 3 grown children, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Oh, and the dog in the picture is Leroy, who is with me most of the time.
