I am huge into Genealogy, not only in my own family but helping others as well. Further, I study local law Enforcement history inside of Van Buren County, and in order to obtain photos of these individuals, tracing their genealogy has been necessary and quite frankly very successful.
I also search old newspapers to retrieve the information I seek.
I am a Board member for the Van Buren County Historical Society, and if you happen to have a family member that was law enforcement inside Van Buren County since 1837 I am your guy. Just understand that if they are still living, or served much past the 1980's I am less likely to know.
