Retired USAF officer. Returned to Botetourt County after 30 years away. No local relatives here--my father's side is Claunch-South from Tishomingo County, MS, and my mother's side is McClurkin-Cazort-Buerklin from Arkansas.
Have taken on the challenge as the family genealogist and am documenting what I can from still-living relatives and online sources.
Since I used to mow two local Eagle Rock cemeteries as a teenager, I find it interesting to return and help document the graves for the benefit of all.
