Joanne Stuckey currently lives in Salado, Texas. Joanne served Walden University in the General and Self-Design Ph.D. Programs in the College of Education and Human Sciences from 2008 until 2016, when she started serving the Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment Ed.D. Program. Joanne previously worked in Texas Title I middle and high schools as an English teacher and Career and Technology Education Teacher, Instructional Specialist, New Teacher Mentor, Grant Writer, and Staff Development Trainer. Joanne's other work experiences include serving as a research consultant for the State of Texas in the Region XIII Service Center's School Improvement Resource Center; Campus Coordinator for the Girl Scouts of Central Texas TexBridge Program, Media Coordinator for the University of Texas, College of Natural Sciences' Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry; Technical Editor and Grant Writer for Coleman Research Corporation; Grant Writer and Program Director for Wise Choices Juvenile Crime Prevention Program funded by El Paso Community Foundation and the Texas Department of Human and Regulatory Services; and serving the US Army as a military journalist during the Vietnam Era. When she is not working she enjoys gardening, bicycling, traveling, swimming and working with the Bell County Texas Master Gardener community programs, and spending time with friends and family.
