I volunteer for photos for Springfield Township in Richland County, primarily Ontario, B'nai Jacob and Mansfield Memorial Park. I try to ensure accuracy that the memorial includes not only the correct plot number but also the memorial is listed in the correct cemetery. Some FAG members randomly create memorials in cemeteries where the person was not buried based on a family member who was buried there.

For photo requests:

*Mansfield Cemetery is enormous. Call the cemetery office at 419-522-1831 to obtain the plot number before requesting a photo.

*Mansfield Catholic Cemetery is adjacent to Mansfield Cemetery and some sections are intertwined. Call the parish at 419-524-2572 for plot number.

*Mansfield Memorial Park: First burial was in 1927. All photo requests are current as of September 2025 and will resume Spring 2026. Please note there are a LOT of memorials were erroneously created in this cemetery.

*Ontario Cemetery - All headstone have been photographed. Some very old graves have no headstones and records are sketchy. Some Death Certificates will list Ontario when burial was in Mansfield Memorial Park or B'nai Jacob, which are both IN Ontario. Call 419-529-2537 if you have questions.

*B'nai Jacob Cemetery is adjacent to Ontario Cemetery. All headstones have been photographed as of 2025. The first burial was 1942. If you are looking for an older burial, call Mansfield Cemetery as it might be in the old Hebrew section.

*Smaller Springfield Township Cemeteries: everything that can be photographed has been. The last burials for the following are old: New Castle (1897), Millsboro Nave ( 1957), Pleasant Hill (1926), Webster ( 1876), Marlow (1970). Others on private property cannot be accessed.
