Current Vice President of the Lansing Area African American Genealogical Society (LAAAGS). Williamson Family Historian.
Researching following families: BUCKLEY, JACKSON, HENNING, GAUSE, HALLIBURTON, MYERS, HAMILTON and more.
Since my uncle passed away in 2023, I have taken upon his mantle as (one of the) family historian(s). I am very fortunate to have his vast research at my disposal. I hope to honor his legacy and that of our family by proving his work and furthering it where possible.
I have always been interested in family history but got more serious recently, joined a genealogical society, learned about the Genealogical Proof Standard and have been working towards a higher standard ever since.
Now I do research for family, friends and referred clients as well. I am looking to become a certified genealogist. I live in Mid-Michigan but most of my relatives are buried in North Carolina, Saint Louis, Tennessee and Mississippi. I am planning some trips to some key cemeteries in the near future and I intend to contribute photos from those locations if possible.
