My name is TJ McClung Eagle Scout, I am an ancestor of the pioneer family of McClungs my great great grandfather Jackson Groves McClung resided in Nicholas County on the McClung farm in Canvas, WV in the 1700s. My great grandfather Worth Dix McClung lived in Richwood, WV with his wife Cora Baber having 3 sons Worth Jr, Dee and one daughter Pauline, Joe McClung was my grandfather and received a Purple Heart in World War II. I am 10th generation McClung and reside in Glen Ferris WV. I take pride in my family heritage and I have spent the majority of my adulthood researching genealogy and restoring gravestones back to their original luster as passion project which has been very rewarding.
