I became interested in geneology several years ago and after researching the history during Tulip Time in Pella, Iowa in 2019 in the library heritage section, I can see why my father and mother were so big on Pella. Our ancestors were the Doedyns, Kuypers and Koder's on my father's side and this led me to research my mother's side which are Holt and Payne. I have always considered myself a Heinz 57 mixture but after the geneology research I am English on my mothers side and German and Dutch on my father's side. It is fascinating to trace your roots all the way acrosss the pond and this site helps make that possible.
