I set sail on my genealogy journey over 34yrs ago by me visiting my 4th cousin Rolland LeRoy Walker who is a decorated Vietnam vet. He had given me information on my dad side of the family over the years, I just went with the flow. Just here 11yrs ago I lost my dad and 20yrs for my mom wanted to give up on it.

One day back in June 2016 there was something inside of me that wanted to visit the local cemeteries where I had family in and start to take care of them. In just 10yrs I have touch 284 of my family headstones in 21 cemeteries in 5 counties (Lapeer, Sanilac, St. Clair, Oakland, Genesee Counties) from my dad to my 4th great grandparents to my aunts and uncles to my 3 great aunts and uncles to my 2nd,3rd,4th,5th,6th,7th,8th cousins. My mom was cremated. I get to touch all my grandparents, great grandparents etc headstones where all my Serbian, Croatian, English, Scottish, German, French, Italian roots that makes up all my DNA. Their all my family that has gone before me, but I make sure their ALL are cared for. One day I hope to pass everything on to the younger generation.

All my family were farmers to labor help.
