What started out as a simple personal project to find an unknown grandfather and great-grandfather on each side of my family has now morphed into a passionate quest to connect and honor my ancestors. I truly enjoy the challenge and the process as I help myself and others remember all those who have made us who we are today.
If you have information that you wish for me to include on any profile that I manage please use the "Suggest Edits" button on that person's memorial page so I can reference which memorial your suggested changes pertain to. In that message kindly send me links or enough information for me to locate your sources and do the appropriate research to ensure everything is correct on all ends.
Most of the memorials that I manage are family members that I have known and loved, so managing their memorial is deeply meaningful to me. I do manage a small number of memorials that I am either distantly related to or have no relation to at all. In those cases I had information that I came across while researching my own family and volunteered to manage and update that person's memorial until a family member came along. That said, if I manage a memorial that you are closely related to please let me know and I will gladly transfer that person's memorial to you. If you are not a close relative and you wish to manage their memorial please contact me. If I am not related to them I will gladly transfer management to you. The way I see it is even if they are distant relatives they are still your family, and if you have the desire to manage their memorial then a transfer is simply the right thing to do. I hope what I have added will help with your own family research. Also please ask if I have more information about your loved one because chances are I probably do :)
If you wish to use any photo that I have uploaded to a memorial you are more than welcome and do not have to contact me in advance to ask permission. My only request is that you make a simple attribution referencing me as the owner of the photo. Photos I have added to the memorials of family members that I manage are from my personal collection so a simple acknowledgment is appropriate and much appreciated!
