I am an Alumni from Maine College of Art (maiden name: Wagnis) The name was originally a longer name, according to my Great Uncle Tony Wagnis. Vasnis and perhaps an even longer name. I was told by him that the name was longer and their teachers had them change the name, for spelling reasons.

I am a divorcee, and a mother of four grown children, a self-published author with my eBooks and paperbacks on Amazon, CreateSpace and Authorhouse. So far, I have 72 published books and have been working on more poetry books, fiction novels and a new cookbook and new knitting book. I also have an Etsy shop: jfaypaperdolls for my knitted items, paper doll sets and other fine art products. Several blogs with Blogger and a very old blog with Wordpress. I should get back to blogging, yet, now I have been concentrating on the art, getting back to Ceramics, always photography and beginning to design my own jewelry wax carvings.

My two girls, Mollyanne and Julia, love art, track, writing and other areas of interests. My oldest, Sean, is a graduate of Bellingham College in Washington and is currently part of their faculty in the field of Archaeology. My younger son, Jake, over the years, has been involved in swimming, bowling tournaments, Bochee ball and other areas of interests. I am proud of all of my kids.
