I am of Swedish (50%), English (25%) and Irish (25%) descent. My maternal family lines include Thorsen, Anderson, McFee, Nilsdotter, Swenson (Svensson), Lund, Monson and Johansson. My paternal family lines include Eaton, Dawson, O'Dea, Sprague, Baker, Harris, Finn, Yost, Towle, and Chase.

I grew up in the small village of Avoca, NY (Steuben County). Upon graduating from high school in June of 1981, I enlisted in the U.S.A.F. I completed boot camp at Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX. After boot camp, I spent a year at Incirlik AB, Adana, Turkey and followed that up with my final duty station, Langley AFB, Hampton, VA. Upon separating from the Air Force in August of 1985, I was hired by the Virginia Beach Police Dept. After 29 years, I retired from the police department on June 1, 2015 and currently work as the safety manager for a small company in Suffolk, VA.

Over the past 30 years, with the help of a few cousins, I have collected information on most of my family lines. I have made every effort to make sure that the information posted is accurate.
