I don't do this work casually.

Preserving memorials isn't a pastime for me. It's a responsibility I take personally. I'm here to restore names, reconnect families, and correct what time and neglect have damaged. When I manage a memorial, I treat it with care and intention, because every person deserves accuracy, dignity, and to be remembered as more than a line of text.

I care deeply about history, but I don't romanticize it. The past was complex because people were complex. I don't revise stories to make them prettier — I work to make them honest. Truth matters to me. Even the uncomfortable parts deserve daylight.

This work is personal in ways that are hard to explain. Old letters, faded photographs, forgotten names …they don't feel distant to me. Time doesn't feel like a straight line when you do this long enough. It layers. It lingers. And sometimes it asks to be handled gently.

I do this quietly, without expectation of recognition.

Just a woman at a desk, usually late at night, doing her best to make sure no one is forgotten.
