Many people depart this life prematurely, leaving without apparent reason. As we gaze upon the sky, we find comfort in the notion that they gaze back. We frequently remember them—in the morning, throughout the night, when we observe the stars, or when a date, song, place, or scent evokes their memory. We hold them in our hearts, honoring those who have left us.

Find A Grave has been a significant aid in my genealogical research. In gratitude, I create memorials on the site to assist others in tracing their ancestry.

Should I inadvertently duplicate a memorial, it is unintentional, as I verify before creating one. The memorials I establish contain the information available at the time of creation. I make it a point to leave flowers on any memorial I visit that lacks them and link family members when feasible.

Should you wish to manage a memorial of your relative that I have created, I am willing to transfer it according to Find A Grave guidelines—please explain your relationship when requesting a transfer.
