Unfortunately, many have been spoiled FindaGrave by turning it into just another place to copy trees from pedigrees that are known to be full of errors and copied trees that have merged different people and different families. Unfortunately, others are happy to copy such invented "memorials" as factual and AI is happy to generate fake search results based on those "memorials".

Always check, always question - History, like these memorials deserves our respect to be as accurate as possible. There are other websites that have been designed for copying copied trees without evidence.

Like everyone else, I am capable of making errors. Though I do not get many edit suggestions, I appreciate being notified of any errors or additional information. Please do not send suggested edits based on copied trees. I always check any suggested edits before accepting or rejecting them.

I have been linking up my own family tree and the family trees of the grandchildren of my sister, Beryl from research covering many years.

I have added other memorials that have no family connection when I have photographed graves or come across information in that could be of interest to others. I am happy to transfer any of those if they are genuinely related to you or of other interest to you.

I like to be thorough, linking family members where there is evidence and adding relevant information, to create meaningful memorials. Quality and accuracy is important to me.

I do not understand why others have the need to create a collection of hundreds of thousands of memorials only showing a name and death year.
