I was born in the month of August in 1967. Murphy, North Carolina is my home. I have recently retired from a job of 35 years as a Library Assistant and Librarian. Went back to work in a local public library last year (2018) and I love it. My parents are Frankie and Wanda Ann Phillips Murphy. My dad's parents were Joseph Manco + Ida Elizabeth Sutton Murphy. My mom's parents were William Arthur + Millie Jeannie Rider Phillips. Some of my great-grandparents were William James Lafayette + Nettie Nix Rider, William Alfred + Anna Gibson Sutton, Thomas Manuel + Nancy Tow Phillips and Solomon + Jane Davis Murphy.

I am presently working on a Genealogy book on Murphy/Rider/Sutton/Phillips families and related others. I am up to 427 pages and still going. Not sure when I will finish but surely soon.
