I am a student of history and a dedicated genealogist. I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in History from LSU and currently devote my skills to history research for my native parish, sharing findings in a social media history group dedicated to parish history, culture and genealogy.

I am not a memorial collector and those memorials I maintain are those of family, friends and persons in the community that I grew up knowing for which family has not created a memorial. As I lost family members that passed away all too soon, I am sensitive that death is more than making a memorial. Respect for family and those who mourn is paramount to me.
