Doing research for a book about my third-great grandfather, Texas pioneer John William Eblen III (1796-1856). Looking for letters, photos or other documents related to his life and the lives of his ancestors in Tennessee, Virginia and Pennsylvania. Would love to hear from descendants of his Texas children -- George Washington Eblen and Ruth Eblen John. Also interested in hearing from descendants of his Kentucky son, Andrew Jackson Eblen (1830-1900) who left Henderson, Kentucky in 1881 and settled near Baker City, Oregon.
