I was born in South Bend Indiana and still live in South Bend 14 houses away from my childhood house. I lived in various parts of the country but most of the last 30 years I've lived in South Bend and southern Michigan. I was a software engineer/developer for 40 years which had nothing to do with this hobby. When I first heard of findagrave.com, I looked up the information for my parents' first child which passed away as an infant. I was sad to see there were no family links for him. Upon further research I found most of my family had no photos. One thing led to another (not wanting to leave anyone neglected) and I began adding pictures and links and updating bio information. I was happy to see pictures and bio information for my family in this historical record area and so I believe many others are also happy to see bio information for their families.

My mother and father were both born and raised in Oklahoma so most of my father's family lived there and were buried there.
