I am in my late 70s and twice retired, once as a Navy chaplain and second from the ministry. My interest in family history goes back to childhood, but my active research dates to 2011. I have ties primarily to Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and Delaware.
A particular interest of mine is helping families record the stories of ancestors who have served in the military. Putting pictures and brief biographies about their military service on Find a Grave is a way of honoring their service and sacrifices for our country.
Some family names I have been tracing include: Carey, Edwards, Gundlach, Houck, Ostrander and Race/Rees. I love to chase genealogical "rabbits."
