My mother started me on genealogy research when I was a teenager. We had numerous fun trips across the country searching for information. There were also tons of hours spent looking through microfilm, in the days before census records could be found on the internet.

I have self-published ten genealogy-related books. Now in my retirement years, I have gone back and dug into the stories of the brothers and sisters of my direct ancestors, and found many interesting tales along the way.
