Do not ask to add a obit to a memorial, especially if a newer death. Most requests are newer memorials. They can be viewed by looking online. Find a Grave has guidelines as to adding info in biography...especially living peoples names and privacy issues. I have been removing them from my memorials as I come across them. Old or harder to find obits, I handle somewhat differently, depending on circumstances. If you had photo of obit, I don't object but the biography is not where we "cut and paste" an obit. I will accept your own written obit if you send the corresponding documents to verify the info and don't include names of living persons. I will add obit available at ...(funeral home or newspaper) if requested to add obit.

I was hoping people were using common sense but apparently some of you like to use my photos to make a memorial for a living spouse. So, again......NO ONE HAS MY PERMISSION TO USE MY PHOTOS TO MAKE MEMORIALS FOR LIVING PEOPLE!!!!!

And a side note to spouses or family members that have had their name taken off photo of headstone. Sorry if this causes you any grief and sorry that I have to remove names but, it is for the above reason.

NOTE: DO NOT merge memorials that are unknown because you THINK they might be the same person. If it is one of my memorials, please ask and don't merge. All info is lost because of careless merges. Thanks.
