I became interested in genealogy as a child blessed with two aunts who were passionate about family history. They taught me about documentation as they let me pore over their files and charts. Later, one would go with me to visit genealogical libraries.
I am a retired school principal who is finding time to pursue my own family history passion once a week thanks to a great local library and the wonders of FamilySearch, Ancestry, Fold3, and FindaGrave, all while I'm trying to learn more about these wonders of modern technology (I have an ever growing respect for my former secretaries who are incredibly appreciated). :-)
Happy Hunting!
