I have been working on my families ancestry since i was 25, in between work, school and kids. Genealogy is something I enjoy and it keeps me busy now that I am retired and in a wheel chair. I do research almost daily and work on Find a Grave Memorials to help family members find their loved ones. I am looking for sir names on my maternal line: Killey, Crower/Grauherr/, Lewis, Dubuque, Boucher, Kewney, Whittle, and many more. Which are from Michigan, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Canada, France, and the Isle of man.
On my Paternal Metcalfe, Smith, McKinney, Hargan, Essex, Sherrard, LaFollette, Figg, and several others. My Dads family comes from the Carolina's, Texarkana, Miller County, Arkansas, Louisville, Jefferson Co, Kentucky, Nelson Co Ky, Hardin Co, Ky, Indiana, as well as many other places I haven't found yet.
I will help you with whatever I can whenever I can, all you need to do is ask. I am a new member of The Daughters of the American Revolution, and in that time I have registered as a Daughter under my 7th Great grandfather Joseph Jacob LaFollette, through his grandson John Squire LaFollette, and I am researching several others on my paternal tree as well as they few on My maternal one I didn't think We would ever find. I am actively searching for my Smith Line, there are so many discrepancies in what I do find its hard to figure out what is right. My Great Grandfather is R.C. Smith or AKA: Arcemius Drury Smith born Aug 6, 1877 and he had a twin brother names Logan. If anyone can help me with this I would GREATLY APPRECIATE IT!!!
