I am currently 53; I began researching my maternal family, in 2016, for my Mother, Nancy (she is 87). When she was 65, she found out about a family secret - she had a different biological Father, and he had already passed away. I have been trying to find out more, for her (& myself). It’s been very trying, for me. I have boxes of hand written notes. And, I’ve given up, for short periods of time, but never forever. I’m ready to begin, again! :))
