Please when submitting edits, add them to the appropriate fields on the memorial's edit page and put details of source or documentation in the notes field. I try to verify suggestions but it would be of assistance and quicker if source of information is in the notes.

I am now updating all my memorials with information obtained from Death/Funeral Notices as they include a lot of information not on headstones, which actually help researchers getting more leads, and this is what Find A Grave was designed for NOT numbers of memorials a person manages but the information supplied on those memorials. Also no information about living people are included, as per the FAG rules.

I have been doing family research for many decades now, but I haven't been adding family as I find it to find a grave until 2022. As I find missing memorials when researching my extended family tree, I have started to add them to find a grave and try and link them to spouses, children, parents etc. This will help with people trying to find family members and get the correct relationships. I have come across so much incorrect information for memorials in my family tree I have now taken to trying to manage all that relate to my research. Any relationships I have added are definitely correct and checked against official documentation. But am happy to be corrected as well as we are all human & can make mistakes.

I am adding burial details to quite a few differenct cemeteries & am using the terminology of the information provided by Shire Council records, if I have added to one of your memorials with the abreviations from the council, you are welcome to change it to the full wording. I don't have the time to add every one of the amendments. You can accept the changes & then type in the changes, I have spent weeks copying & pasting and checking information to make sure it is correct (West Wyalong Cemetery, Bland Shire Council).

I am happy to transfer any memorials I have that aren't my close relations or part of my family tree.
