I am a former library assistant, retired bookstore manager and history lover. I grew up in a small town in WI, and graduated from Calvin University. I worked on my own family genealogy during the early 1980's. I enjoy research and have been looking into the former residents of my house in upstate NY. This includes the Stephen H. Parker family and that of his wife Anna Stainton Parker, as well as the Edward P. Earl family. Recently I have been researching my husband's family roots in Tennessee and Kentucky.
I enjoy photographing grave sites for those who request photos in Find A Grave, and delving into census and other records to trace the lives of those who have gone before. I find cemeteries to be peaceful places where I can enjoy the quiet solitude and be surrounded by nature.
