I am a Michigander by birth, my grandparents came here from the "old country" in Slimitsa, Macedonia Greece.

I met my sweet husband in the Army, and we were together for 38 years. He was my best friend in the world, as well as my soulmate, and he passed away suddenly, this summer, and I have been widowed too soon.

However, as believers , we both believe that we will meet again in the clouds, and spend an eternity together. Therefore, we "don't grieve as those with no hope."

"But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep lest you sorrow as others who have no hope…even so, God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we, which remain, will be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord, in the air. And this, we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore, comfort one another with these words."
