I have always been fascinated with history and my family genealogy. I have been able to see photos of close, and distant, relatives on this forum, as well as their final resting place.

I have recently started taking photos that include the GPS location and notating which area in the cemetery they are found. Updated photos of the marker are great but I also take photos of the area surrounding them. I mean, it's always nice to see who your neighbors are! Plus, if someone goes to the cemetery, it helps to have physical markers to look for, not just the GPS.

On the older burials, I look for newspaper articles and on ancestry for any additional information to add. I am happy to share the information for those who may not have access to information behind a pay wall.

I do not have a goal of having *the* most memorials managed. I'm more than happy to transfer them, provided they are not directly related to me.
