I stumbled upon ancestry.com after my father passed and I opened up the world he would get lost in. After having some of my requests met on this site, I decided I would love to be able to help people to connect with their past. A dear friend of mine had the same interest and so we have started a new adventure together.
Any memorials that we start, we are willing to transfer over to family members to maintain.
HOW TO REQUEST A TRANSFER: On Memorial page...
To request a transfer, contact the manager of the memorial. Go to the memorial in question, click on 'Suggest Edits' and scroll down to the 'Contact Manager' button. Select it and type your message to the memorial manager. Be sure to include your relationship to the person and any other reason for the transfer request. Transferring means that I transfer a memorial over to you and you take care of it.
