I am with the Paxton IL American Legion Post and for several years I was in charge of maintaining a list of Veterans buried in Glen Cemetery in Paxton and seeing that they all got flags on their graves for Memorial Day(there are currently over 1,050 graves). Although I am not physically able to do the leg work any more, I still maintain the paperwork with the help of my wife and others doing the leg work for me. While getting this all together, I discovered Find a Grave and decided to share the information on this site. I am currently in the process of updating all the Veteran's info with plot numbers and other pertinent info. I have also created four virtual cemeteries to make it easier to locate a Veteran.

I also expanded my interests to include my family and my wife's family. It can be tedious at times but is always rewarding.

If I am managing one of your relatives, I am more than willing to transfer management if requested.
