I'm from Catawba county, but most of my family lines are mostly from Cabarrus County, NC. I lived in Cabarrus for several years, but I wasn't interested in my deep roots at the time. Now it just takes a little more effort to get to the area to visit the graves of generations back. I'm lucky to have that option still.

My primary lines are Readling, Hagler, Linker, Kennedy. Kennedy line originates in Forsyth county and other lines a few gens back that came from the NC Coast in New Hanover, Brunswick and Carteret counties. The lines include Wells, Mintz, Sellers and Jones. One of my goals is visiting the graves of the lines that I can find. A few are on private property so finding the owners to access the sites has proven a challenge.

I'm on FamilySearch primarily. I'll be happy to share any info on the lines that I have and would love any input or photos anyone has.
