Bio
My interests are focused mainly on the memorials and graves of members of the armed forces. Not specifically just the great wars but those who fell in service during the "Troubles" in Northern Ireland. In addition I have an interest in those members of the security forces in Northern Ireland made the ultimate sacrifice in service of the entire community during the Troubles (RUC/PSNI, Prison Service and UDR).
"It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us—that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they here gave the last full measure of devotion—that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain"
- Abraham Lincoln - Gettysburg
Of course its not just about those who fell in their "last full measure of devotion" but those whose courage and bravery saved the lives of others.
